North America

Connect America Fund – Phase II
As part of the Connect America Fund Phase II, Project & Program management to deploy telecommunications broadband infrastructure in the United States in the states of Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska, including copper and fiber technologies (VDSL and FTTx)– Average speed per user: 10Mbps DL/1Mbps UL

Optical Transport Network (OTN); Michigan, USA
Technical specifications, procurement, and project management  for an OTN network to transport TDM and Ethernet services as well as to provide connectivity between MPLS equipment among the respective sites forming the Eastern Upper Peninsula and the Western Upper Peninsula rings in the state of Michigan.

Fiber To The Premises (FTTP); Iowa, USA
Design and deployment of an active FTTP system to provide broadband services to businesses and residential customers located in New Haven and Riceville, in the State of Iowa.

Carrier Ethernet Transport Project Summary; Iowa, USA
Deployment of a Carrier Ethernet transport network over a  fiber optic OC-192 SONET ring  interconnecting Clear Lake to Mason City. The transport network included two (2) Gigabit Ethernet interfaces for transporting IP video services, one (1) Gigabit Ethernet interface for transporting Internet traffic, and two (2) Gigabit Ethernet interfaces for routing cell site backhaul traffic.

3650MHz WiMAX Network Project Summary;  Blair, Nebraska (USA)
Design and deployment  of a pilot 3650MHz WiMAX system in a “fixed” configuration in the rural communities of Nebraska . The project consisted in the development of  technical specifications,  RFP, vendor proposal evaluation, and project management. The WiMAX network included Base Station sites and the necessary Connectivity Service Network (CSN) equipment, including  various VoIP components.

700MHz LTE Network Project Summary; Blair, Nebraska (USA)
Design and deployment of a 700MHz LTE network to provide broadband connectivity to customers in the communities of rural Nebraska. The LTE eNodeBs were deployed in-market and traffic was aggregated to a hosted Evolved Packet Core via a Carrier Ethernet Backhaul. In addition, the 700MHz LTE system, deployed in a fixed configuration, included the implementation of a hosted Voice over IP (VoIP) component for providing voice service to the communities within the service area.

CARIBBEAN ISLANDS

Business Opportunity Research in the Caribbean Islands ICT Market
As part of emerging countries, various communities in the Caribbean islands experience the challenges of the digital divide. Governmental entities and ICT organizations are striving to develop initiatives for introducing innovative broadband services to communities within the region.

DigiBridge TelCo conducted an extensive research to assess the level of the digital divide, the main players in the ICT sector, and business opportunity potentials in the Caribbean Islands’ ICT market. DigiBridge TelCo also initiated marketing actions targeting government officials and ICT organization executives from 14 islands to understand more about their challenges, their needs in terms of ICT consultancy services, and their short-, mid-, and long-term perspectives. The islands that were part of the research included Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinity and Tobago.

AFRICA

Telecommunications Last Miles solutions – Côte d’Ivoire
Study to develop strategies for deploying telecommunications Last Miles solutions to connect rural communities in Côte d’Ivoire to the national fiber optic backbone, including fixed technologies (xDSL, FTTx) and wireless technologies (3G UMTS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi).

Development of 5-year Strategic Planning;  Burkina Faso (West Africa)
Development of a 5-year strategic plan  including  an assessment of current and future perspectives of the Burkina Faso ICT sector followed by a proposal of a series of strategies for restoring  the client’s in the ICT sector. The planning also involved a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analysis of the proposed strategies as well as an action plan for the best identified strategy.

Network Tuning/Optimization of 3G Radio Access Network; Nigeria (West Africa)
The DigiBridge TelCo consultant assisted a Nigerian major mobile telecoms operator in the tuning of four (4) clusters located in the city of Lagos to investigate their HSDPA network performance issues identified during a series of benchmarking drive tests. Several tools were utilized to perform the tuning including TEMS Discovery 3.0.3, FACTS, OSS, Mapinfo, and Google Earth.

Optimization of 3G Radio Access Network; Ghana (West Africa)
The DigiBridge TelCo consultant assisted a GHANA major mobile telecoms operator in the optimization of their 3G network to achieve their KPI objectives, including network accessibility, retainability, and integrity as well as IRAT improvement, for voice, video, and HSPA services.

Optimization of another 3G Radio Access Network; Ghana (West Africa) 
The DigiBridge TelCo consultant assisted another GHANA mobile telecoms operator in the optimization of their GSM and UMTS network. The project consisted of the performance analysis of five (5) clusters to ensure accessibility, mobility, and integrity of all the voice and data services within the network.
